I'm Derek, a freelance photographer located in the Staunton, VA area.

Nearly 30 years ago was gifted my first camera; a very basic point-and-shoot that opened up a new world for me. With varying upgrades over the years and plenty of experience, began shooting freelance in 2021. Specializing in Automotive Photography came naturally, as my obsession with cars predates that first camera.

Joe

Joe moved to the valley 2 years ago from Nashville, TN where he lived for the past 27 years. Joe is not a newcomer to the valley, having graduated from EMU and having attended UVA Darden Executive Program.

A BMW guy since high school and an overall car enthusiast that moved from the Roundel to the Porsche crest about 15 years ago. While in Nashville Joe opened "My Other Garage", the first climate controlled storage facility for cars and motorcycles in Nashville. When not playing with, shopping for, or selling a car, Joe tends to his consulting business where he advises clients (mostly publishers) on sales, marketing and logistics issues.

Joe and his wife Beth reside in Penn Laird, VA with their three dogs, Gunner, Pistol, and Enzo.

What started off as a hobby turned into a full-time business. Detail Driven is focused on that small group of enthusiast that are looking for that unique and top quality detailer. Offering customers high-end services like paint correction, ceramic coatings, vinyl wraps, show car preparations, and car collection maintenance.
